College or university, language, and teaching qualifications to date.

Please briefly give details of your English language teaching experience. Please include:

·       Countries, cities, and schools, including dates.

·       Age range and levels.

Briefly analyse the language below (in bold) as if you were teaching the language to a class of intermediate (B1) students.

(a) I’m not rich, but if I were a billionaire, I’d buy a private island.

(b) Oh, come on, don’t complain! It’s not that bad! Stop making such a fuss!

In 250-300 words only, detail some principles that underpin your teaching (e.g., “It is necessary for students to find language learning enjoyable, because…”), and examples of how you apply these principles in class. Include examples of different levels, ages, and types of classes (General English / Business English, etc.). This task will help to assess your writing skills and may also be used to advise you on the suitability for this course for your goals.
